Jess Gordon SEPiT, MSc, BSc

Jess is currently a trainee sport and exercise psychologist with a background as a former junior international athlete. Drawing on her own experience of high-performance sport, she brings a practical and empathetic approach to supporting athletes, coaches, and teams.

Alongside her training Jess is an Associate Lecturer in Sports and Exercise Psychology at Health Sciences University, Bournemouth. In addition Jess is also the Perforamnce Psycology Lead for King Edwards VI School, Southampton.

She delivers evidence-based psychological support across a range of sports including athletics, rugby, swimming, and netball. Her work focuses on helping athletes develop psychologically to enhance performance, manage pressure, and support overall wellbeing.

Jess’ approach is collaborative and athlete-centred, tailoring interventions to individual needs, environments, and goals. Whether working with developing athletes, experienced performers, or support staff, she aims to help people build the psychological skills needed to not only perform at their best, but to enjoy sport and sustain performance over time.
